Oakville Earth Hour Results in Energy Savings

(Oakville, ON) March 27, 2017 – Oakville Hydro reports that during Earth Hour, the demand for electricity in the Town of Oakville was reduced by 3.65 per cent (6.2 MW). 

“Every year, Earth Hour is a reminder of the global importance of climate change and conservation,” said Rob Lister, President and CEO at Oakville Hydro.  “Once again, Oakville residents showed their support and commitment to saving energy and building a ‘green’ town through energy-wise decisions, both big and small.”
