(Oakville, ON) August 19, 2021 – To recognize all the customers that took part in their recent Have Your Say campaign, Oakville Hydro presented the Oakville Hospital Foundation with a donation of $10,000.

“As we develop our upcoming five-year strategy, we felt that it was imperative to incorporate customer feedback into our planning. The Have Your Say campaign helped us to do just that,” said Scott Mudie, Chief Operating Officer, Oakville Hydro. “Thanks to the tremendous feedback we received, our customers will help shape the future of electricity and provide additional healthcare resources in the community.”

For every completed survey, Oakville Hydro committed to donating to the Oakville Hospital Foundation with the contribution totalling $10,000. Based on the feedback received, Oakville Hydro plans to focus on the future electrification of transportation, determine preferred ways to accommodate growth in the Town of Oakville and work to maintain reliability.

“The Oakville Hospital Foundation is grateful to Oakville Hydro and its customers for supporting the healthcare needs of the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital,” said Suzanne Hallsworth, Chief Development Officer of the Oakville Hospital Foundation. “Unique initiatives such as the Have Your Say campaign directly fund the hospital’s essential needs, as we continue to deliver exemplary patient care.”
