(Oakville, ON) March 22, 2018 – Oakville Hydro is pleased to recognize the effort of its customers switching to eBilling and presented the Oakville Hospital Foundation (OHF) with a $14,770 cheque. On hand for the presentation included representatives from Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, OHF and Oakville Hydro.

For every customer that switched to eBilling, Oakville Hydro committed to donating $10 to the OHF.  Through incredible community support, the Give Back eBilling Campaign not only provided funding for OHF, but created 1,477 new eBilling registrants, positively impacting the environment with paper reduction.

“We’re thrilled to have offered our customers the opportunity to give back to the Oakville Hospital Foundation,” said Rob Lister, President and CEO at Oakville Hydro.  “Fundraising is essential to ensuring the Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital has the vital equipment and patient care initiatives it requires, enhancing patient care while reducing our paper footprint makes it a win-win.”

“The Oakville Hospital Foundation is grateful to Oakville Hydro and its customers for supporting the healthcare needs of our hospital,” said Mary McPherson, CEO of the Oakville Hospital Foundation.  “Unique initiatives such as the eBilling campaign directly fund the essential equipment Oakville Trafalgar Memorial Hospital caregivers need to deliver exemplary patient care.”
